Nursing

The Magnet Recognition Program is a voluntary international recognition program that recognizes excellence in nursing care., an award bestowed on a select number of medical facilities by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

According to the ANCC, magnet designation is widely accepted as the gold standard of patient care. The program recognizes excellence and professionalism in nursing management, philosophy and practices, adherence to standards for improving patient care quality, and attention to cultural and ethnic diversity. Applicants undergo an extensive evaluation, and members that attain magnet status must continue to pass annual reviews as part of their four-year designation.
The pursuit of being on the journey towards excellence is a statement by CRMC, that the nursing staff of this hospital will receive the support it requires to help it acheive the highest levels of patient satisfaction, as well as nursing satisfaction with the career they have chosen.

      - Charlie Harms CEO

The highest honor we can give to the nurses is the gift allowing them to care for their patients in an environment of healing and hope. The journey towards excellence gives nurses hope! The journey towards excellence gives nurses the power to care! The Journey towards excellence is our gift to the Nurses!

       - Kathy Green, VP Nursing Services
