Guest Trays Many visitors enjoy the opportunity to share a meal with a patient. For this reason, Cheyenne Regional Medical Centers Food and Nutrition Services has guest trays available upon request. Guest trays are available for any meal, as long as the Food and Nutrition Services is notified at least one meal before (for example, to order dinner, please order it by lunchtime of the same day). Visitors can order and pay for the meal in either cafeteria. Food and
Nutrition Services welcomes the opportunity to send food orders from the
Greenhouse Grill to the East building. The Lemon Tree also has the
following food products available: Vending Machines: At CRMCEast, vending machines are located on the 1st Floor near the large (patient) elevators. ATM Access: CRMCs Food &
Nutrition Services has 46 employees Of the 46 employees, 33 are
on the food production staff, six are on the clinical staff, which is
comprised of registered dietitians and registered dietetic technicians,
three supervisors, two managers and one director. The West kitchen facility staff provides all food preparation and production for the West building and the preparation, production and transport to the East buildings cafeteria and patients. The West kitchen facility was built in 1968, but a new kitchen will be included in the new patient tower addition. In 2001, the department will move to the new first-floor Patient Tower, which will have a new kitchen, cafeteria and dining area for use by employees, patient families, visitors, physicians, volunteers and the general public. The cafeteria will be designed around the scatter concept with multiple separate food stations rather than the single serving line of the present cafeteria. It will include a grill, traditional hot entrees, soup and salad bar, a pizza/pasta station and grab and go station offering prepackaged items such as sandwiches, salads, deli, bakery and dessert items and beverages for easy takeout. The dining area will be next to big windows looking out into the courtyard. During good weather, diners will be able to enter the courtyard and enjoy an outdoor setting for their meals. Also, two to three meeting rooms and a new auditorium with a movable partition will be included with easy access from the kitchen for special-function catering. These rooms will replace the existing auditorium and Century Room.Clinical Dietetics Food & Nutrition Services
