Wellington Medical Center expands services to provide for the entire family

WELLINGTON, CO – In an ongoing effort to provide comprehensive medical services to the Wellington and surrounding communities, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has expanded the range of healthcare services provided at its Wellington Medical Center with the addition of a physical therapist and a family nurse practitioner. Wellington Medical Center now offers patients physical therapy, sick visits, well-baby and well-child checks and women’s health services.

Wellington Medical Center has offered primary care, radiology and laboratory services since its grand opening in September of 2006. “We provide care for the entire family, close to home,” said Kristen Jacobson, Wellington Medical Center supervisor.

Jan Beltz, FNP-C, family nurse practitioner, joins the Wellington Medical Center after 20 years of working in medical environments as a registered nurse. “I am looking forward to helping the patients in this community,” said Beltz.

Anne Lute, MAPT, physical therapist, has practiced in the Northern Colorado area since 1984 and now meets the rehabilitation needs of the Wellington Medical Center patients.

Wellington Medical Center has served more than 300 patients since its opening. “We have seen a steady increase in patient volumes and are excited to offer even more services to this community,” said Andrew Hughes, MD, at the Wellington Medical Center.
